The “Changsuek” defender expressed his pride in playing in Songkhla Province again on behalf of the Thai national team, aiming to help the team win the 50th King’s Cup.
Elias Dolah, a Thai-Swedish defender, played for Songkhla for 2 years before making his first appearance in the Thai national team in 2019 and has been a key player for the team up until now.
Elias Dolah revealed that “For me, the King’s Cup is an important tournament, especially for the Thai national team and Thai people. More importantly, the Thai national team doesn’t often have the opportunity to play in the South.”
“As a southerner, I am very happy that this year’s King’s Cup tournament is being held in Songkhla Province. I had the opportunity to play for Songkhla for 2 years in Thai League 2, and my dream at that time was to be selected for the Thai national team.”
“Today I have returned here as a Thai national player. I hope that I can help inspire children and youth in the South to pursue their dreams and become the next generation of Thai national players.”
“For me, when I played for Songkhla Club, I had only good memories. The people in the province, the beautiful nature, the delicious food. Everyone was friendly. I always felt the true love from the southern people. And I will never forget those good times.”
“My goal in this tournament is to win the championship because this is my pride. I am confident that we will perform well and win the championship. For me, I am very excited to come back to Songkhla province again and play at Tinsulanont Stadium. I am looking forward to meeting my friends, family and all the fans in the South. See you,” said Elias.
