Breaking News: Former Nfl Star Taken Into Custody Following Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul Fight In Texas

Former NFL star Adam “Pac Man” Jones was arrested early Saturday morning in Arlington, Texas, after watching Jake Paul take on Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium.

It was reported by TMZ that the 41-year-old was taken into custody by police after Jones arrived at and was inside the Loews Arlington Hotel, which is less than a 10-minute walk away from where the fight took place. Jones was booked for alleged public intoxication, resisting arrest, evading arrest and assault on a police officer, according to Arlington Police Department.

Jail records show he was released on Saturday morning on a $319 bond. A representative for Jones told Sports Illustrated: “He adamantly denies the allegations and looks forward to explaining the truth when the time comes.

“Like thousands of other people in Dallas last night, Pac was in town for the fight and was enjoying himself, spending time with the fans. Pacman was returning to his hotel to wind down for the evening. He was not looking for trouble.”

During his NFL career, he played for the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos.

This encounter with the law is just the latest in Jones’ history of run ins with the police throughout his life. In July 2005, Jones was arrested on assault and felony vandalism charges, stemming from an incident at a local nightclub in Nashville. Then in February 2006, Jones was arrested in Georgia for an incident outside a home, with the state pressing charges for felony and misdemeanor counts of obstruction of justice.

Later that year, Jones was arrested in Tennessee for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at a nightclub, spitting on a woman he claimed stole his wallet. Police intervened after club staff asked the NFL star to leave the premises and Jones was given six months probation.

In October 2006, Jones was suspended one game by the Titans for allegedly spitting on a female Tennessee State University student at a local nightclub. Then in 2007, Jones was allegedly involved in an altercation at a local Las Vegas strip club, which resulted in a shooting, which left former professional wrestler Tommy Urbanski paralyzed from the waist down.

In 2015, Jones was ordered to pay Urbanski and a bouncer who was wounded in the shooting over $12 million by a Nevada jury, with $11 milion being paid to the former wrestler and $1.3 million going to the bouncer. Two years later, Jones was arrested in Cincinnati for obstructing official business, disorderly conduct, assault and a felony charge of harassment with a bodily substance. He was suspended for one game.

Jones was arrested a year later in July 2018 for attacking an airport employee in Atlanta and was released by the Broncos in November that year. In 2019, Jones was arrested for placing illegal bets in a casino and in 2021, he was arrested in Ohio for misdemeanor assault.

Most recently in 2023, the former NFL star was arrested at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport after being booked on misdemeanor counts of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.

Mirror Sport U.S. has reached out to Jones’ lawyers for comment on the allegations.
